Mercedes-Benz has extended its position in the specialist off highway market with the UK launch of the Zetros with 4x4 and 6x6 models.

The UK’s first 6x6 Zetros has recently been built by Abba Commercials with a tipper body and Edbro UB underfloor tipping gear.

Targeting the winter maintenance market, the vehicle has been equipped with a 9 cubic metre gritter unit mounted inside the tipper body and with a front mounted V plough.
