Job Summary:

Reporting to the Sales and Marketing Director, responsibilities will include key account management, promotion of the brand and product features to transport fleet operators, developing new business leads, identifying customer needs, and working with colleges to address them.

The role requires a highly motivated individual with good interpersonal skills and a professional approach to their work. Ideally with a background in technical and premium brand product sales therefore being familiar with premium brand selling.

The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate sales experience at all levels. Your experience will allow you to engage with contacts and discuss business needs, building value and differentiating our products from those of the competition.

You will also possess an understanding of the process of planning sales strategy, targeting prospects and planning appropriate marketing approaches. With your impressive sales remit, you will be able to demonstrate a successful record of achievement of allocated sales targets, with familiarity of the process of winning deals utilising a consultative sales approach.

Hungry and motivated to succeed, yet with a business aware, consultative selling approach you will be an ambitious salesperson with a high work rate and the ability to prioritise to achieve results.

You will be confident and professional, keen to seize the opportunity of a carrier with a market leading company.

You must be flexible with reference to working hours and travel requirements.

Accountabilities:

Communications Management:

Regular communications of sales calls, activities and results to the Sales Director, and internal teams.

Provide monthly sales reports, monthly expense reports, and any assigned reports to Sales Director in a timely manner.

Regular contact with colleagues and customers ensuring co-ordinated approach to maximise efficiency and effectiveness.

Business Planning:

Formulate detailed actions to achieve objectives and any other goals given by the Sales Director.

Interaction with marketing to plan & create advertising campaigns and themes for trade shows.

Identify and track industry trends and issues – i.e. – natural and economic growth, distributor and customer changes, new opportunities, product developments, etc.

Recommend an expedite /appropriate action plans to the Sales Director as required.

Results Tracking & Management:

Implement all tracking/reporting tools, in conjunction with Finance, Customer Service, etc.

Assist in managing your regional budget and sales for all brands.

Track and report all competitor activity. (Both sales volumes and products)
