JOST UK enjoys busy Tip-Ex 2015

The sun may not have been shining on Harrogate during this year’s Tip-Ex, but JOST certainly found a silver lining for every cloud that passed over. For the first time the company was able to introduce the market to its new Trailer Axle Systems range whilst also reminding Operators and Body Builder why the Edbro brand is still number one for lightweight, high speed tipping cylinders. In addition, the company was able to raise almost £200 for the Yorkshire Air Ambulance thanks to their popular personalised hats.

As usual JOST was one of the major presences at the UK’s largest show dedicated to the tipping and bulk haulage industries. Despite the rain, the large outside display area still drew large crowds who wanted to see live demo models of the super light Edbro range whilst enjoying a bite from the much loved Edbro BBQ. Inside the venue JOST had a stand dedicated to its latest acquisition, Mercedes-Benz TrailerAxleSystems, as well as a large stand with many of Edbro’s industry leading, lightweight cylinders on display.

With the introduction of the Euro 6 emission standard still playing on the minds of many within the industry, the lightweight and reliable tipping solutions available from Edbro have never been more popular. Edbro currently offers the lightest, like-for-like cylinders across its entire range – for 7.5 tonne trucks all the way to 44 tonne trucks and even off-highway applications. This proved to be a popular topic on the 5th anniversary of the introduction of the ever popular CX14, the lightweight, combined ram and tank cylinder that can add £10,000 in extra payload over the life of a vehicle.

As always, the sales team were on hand to advise show visitors about the new technologies that are available across the whole of the JOST range. For anyone who was unable to make it to the show, the team is always happy to pick up the phone or make a personal visit to talk about how JOST can improve the safety, reliability and profitability of you fleet, just call 01204 528888 or visit www.jostuk.co.uk.
